A Life Spent Building People.
A career-long mentor, trainer and ecosystem-builder helping people convert skill into livelihood — across six industries, four academic disciplines and an ever-widening map of Asian markets.
Commissioned as an officer in the Malaysian Armed Forces in 1987 and graduating with a BSc in Resource Economics from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia in 1991, Dr Nandan began his civilian career managing 10,000-hectare plantations for Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad before moving into manufacturing logistics, electronics workforce training, biotech operations and finally corporate training. By the time he completed his Doctorate in Business Management in 2007 — a joint programme between the University of Manila and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia — he had already trained over four thousand employees and led training institutes across multiple disciplines.
Today his work converges on a single mission: building entrepreneurs. Through Asianmicro.biz — his large Malaysian online marketplace, live at asianmicro.biz and microbiz.asia — he unites a curated digital marketplace, competitive auctions, fixed-price instalments, a charity programme and a membership community in one platform “built on tradition, designed for the future”. Through Microbiz.asia he develops talent into market-ready ventures with international standards and cross-border collaboration, and through Tamu.asia he gives those entrepreneurs an execution ground — a trusted marketplace for self-driven individuals to reach customers locally and globally. He continues to lead professional development at Ashtakam Technologies Berhad and Kopbiz Ikhlas, mentoring the next generation of founders from his base in Seremban.
